SAMOSAFER builds on the results of the SAMOFAR project

SAMOSAFER Online School on Molten Salt Reactor, Sept-Dec 2021

1 September - 31 December 2021

The SAMOSAFER project is organising an ONLINE School on Molten Salt Reactor during the fall of 2021, teaching you all about the main areas of active research in MSR technology, coherently with the scope of the SAMOSAFER project.

The school is offered to Master and PhD students, as well as young professionals in the field of nuclear engineering and technology.

The school consists of 7 modules of 3h each, which will be given in a distributed mode between September and December 2021. Each module is composed by:

  • a basic lecture, providing a common background to the whole audience,
  • an advanced lecture, research-focused and strongly linked to SAMOSAFER activities,
  • an interactive session*, allowing students to challenge themselves against relevant problems for MSRs.

*Some of the interactive sessions, due to the organization of hands-on exercise, might be limited in the number of students admitted.
